Top Down / Long Rail

Choosing a top down mount has both benefits and drawbacks. Both need to be considered carefully before going in this direction.

This mounting location gives a crisp and clean look to the projected patterns and also works in spaces that end rail mount are not possible. Unfortunately, Projectors are not designed to point vertically and the heat they produce at this angle will reduce the lifespan of the bulb by 40 to 60 percent. Proper ventilation can help mitigate this effect.
